Miniature Elizabethan Chest for Dollhouses

Miniature replica of a 16th-century wooden chest with a full hinged lid by Ann High. The chest is hand carved with an intricate leaf design and two moon faces that appear to be blowing out wind or fire. It is a reproduction of an original Elizabethan chest (pictured).

Dimensions: 3-3/8" wide x 1-1/2" deep x 2" tall

Ann High is a British artisan and Fellow of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans who has been hand carving incredibly detailed miniatures with a focus in Medieval, Tudor, and 17th century furniture for years. Her work can be seen found in museums in England and America and on the HBO drama series "The Miniaturist".
