This miniature stereoscope is based on the 1861 design by Oliver Wendell Holmes. The hand held stereoscope was a popular amusement in the early 20th century until 1939 when it was replaced by the View-Master.

This full scale miniature stereoscope measures ~ 1-1/2" long x 7/8" wide x 1-1/6" tall.
