The Little Dollhouse Company, Fun One Dollhouse Kit

My daughter Emma's dollhouse is the assembled one featured in the pictures. I put the "Fun One" together and painted it with left over house paint - it was extremely easy - the kit was together in one afternoon, and painted the next day, back in 2003. The doors and window openings are standard size, so when my daughter was older (and gentler!) we installed windows and opening doors, purchased at the Little Dollhouse Company. I attached the exterior doors and windows with velcro, so they can be easily removed for play (i.e .to allow small hands in). This dollhouse is extremely sturdy and has had endless hours of play since I built it 7 years ago. We have since added a divider to the attic area (not shown in the pictures) to make it two rooms. The house started off with inexpensive sturdy furniture, mostly from the dollar store, now replaced with nicer furniture and accessories as my daughter matured and could handle more fragile items with small pieces. I think she will treasure it for life. She loves that mom made it for her. I highly recommend this kit.
