Miniature Walnut American Sofa For Dollhouses - Red

Empire/Victorian transitional, scroll arm, arm chair, circa 1840-1855.
The frame boasts attractive up-swept scroll end arms decorated with foliated carvings that continue through to decorate the curved splay chair legs. At the end of the chair legs are carved scrolls that serve as the feet for the arm chair. The chair is walnut and has been upholstered in a silk fabric decorated with a foliate pattern in shades of red.
