The Acorn is proof that good things do come in small packages. You might call this a ranch bungalow style, with a full covered porch in the front and three full rooms on the main floor and a large divisible attic inside. You could also call this a cabin similar to northern Ontario summer retreats. The Acorn is versatile in both style and function; you can position the partitions on both the main floor and in the attic to make rooms of whatever size you prefer, usually three rooms on each floor. We have included fancy gingerbread trim to fit between the porch posts. We made the gingerbread thicker than the laser-cut lacework so it has greater strength for use by the younger set, but doesn't look clunky or out of place. Of course, the shell or framework of the house is pre-cut out of 3/8th inch super sturdy MDF and the windows and door are pre-assembled. Red BC Cedar Siding, corner trim, shingles, doorknob, and metal builder's plaque are all included. Put up you miniature building permit and start building!
