Shipping and Returns

FREE SHIPPING in Canada on orders of $100 or more, excludes all Dollhouses and Doll House Kits. This free shipping offer is by basic Canada Post only, any alternate and faster shipping method will incur a surcharge. This offer does not include remote territories like Nunavut and Northwest territories and some other very remote areas in Canada, we will advise you if you do not qualify before applying any charges.

We do NOT add shipping to your order online automatically, since the minimum weight per item on this program is 1 lbs, with a few itty bitty things it can add up and not reflect the true cost.

We DO NOT charge anything to your credit card, until we get your approval of the shipping charge, if any. We will contact you by phone or e-mail during our normal business hours of Mon-Sat 10-6 Sunday 12-5. And you may cancel your order if the shipping charges are not what you expected, or you change your mind.

Our preferred fastest way of shipping is Canpar. With Canpar all the items destined for Canada including Doll Houses and Doll House Kits are packed here in our Toronto store and are shipped everyday to make it to you within a day if you are in major cities in Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba, about 3-5 days if you are in rural areas in these provinces and major cities in British Columbia (BC), Alberta, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and elsewhere in Canada. if you are in far away and remote places the shipping can take up to 8 days.

If you choose Canada Post or qualify for the FREE SHIPPING option, you can expect your order within about 2 weeks, faster in major metropolitan areas, and a little slower in more remote places. Canada Post does not give us any time delivery guarantees.

If you are a US Customer, and are ordering a Dollhouse or a Dollhouse Kit or commercial dollhouse furniture and accessories, they will be shipped to you from the USA factories avoiding border crossing and to keep your shipping cost to a minimum. The unique and handmade items will be sent to you from our Toronto store. In the US Canpar hands of to UPS or Federal Express and the delivery times depend on where you are, but usually within a week or so.

If you are an International Customer we will contact you with your shipping options.

For our CANADIAN customers, we ship EVERYTHING, including dollhouses and dollhouse kits from our Toronto, Ontario store, but of course only if that makes more sense for you geographically, or from our suppliers US locations if that works out a better deal for you. The sale prices listed for Real Good Toy dollhouses are FOB their Vermont warehouse.

With a courier delivery your purchase is fully insured and guaranteed against breakage, in the rare even that there is some damage, we ask that the damaged packaging is kept and the damage reported promptly.

If you prefer we will ship to you by Canada Post, the shipping charges in some cases would be a little lower, but in our experience Canada Post does not have the best of delivery records, and unlike the couriers the delivery is not guaranteed and the insurance is difficult to recover.

Please be advised that we have a $25 dollar minimum order to justify packing and all the paperwork involved in order to ship your merchandise, if your order is under that level and you would still like us to fill it - we will charge you the difference between your order and $25 as a handling fee. There is no handling fees for orders of $25 dollars or more.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac when shopping in store, as well as cash.

On-line we accept Visa and Mastercard, but it is not necessary to enter your Credit Card number if you are not comfortable, just check off the money order button, and then you can phone it in during our business hours and we can process it that way,

We can accept cheques, but the order will not ship until the cheque has been cleared into our bank.


Easy Exchanges, Save your receipt

If you have received an item not to your expectations please let us know, and simply bring to the store or ship it back to us within 60 days, in its original condition and packaging, with your receipt and and we will be glad to help you pick out replacements.

We do not charge restocking fees, but there are no exchanges on Dollhouse Kits sent out of Canada and all special orders unless defective.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, but we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.

Please note that the INTERNET SPECIAL priced items are available for shipping only and are FOB the manufacturers warehouse, they are not valid on store pickup and the store retail prices will be applicable.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice, both on our website and in our store. We also reserve the right to change prices on items ordered if the prices have changed for that item. We will do our best to keep online prices current, but in the event of a change in price, we will contact you and let you decide if you want to proceed with your order. We will do our utmost to ensure the accuracy of our web site and product descriptions, but we reserve the right to have occasional errors and omissions in our web site and on the items available.
