The kits and dollhouses on this page are made right here in our workshop on Mount Pleasant Avenue in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
The main reason to making our own dollhouses and kits is to provide Canadians with high quality, homegrown products that utilize the best of materials available on the market with an emphasis on Canadian. We have been doing just that for the last 33 years.
We are very proud of these, so I am afraid I am going to be a little verbose, so please just scroll down to see the houses, if you don't want to read all this.
For the shells of our kits we use super sturdy and immune to warping 3/8th inch thick Canadian made MDF. Each piece is precision cut and rabbited, ie: pre-grooved so joints are solid, square and plumb.
Each kit, except for our most basic Fun One ( where these items are optional) comes with custom made in British Columbia red cedar overlap siding that looks far more realistic then any milled finish, and smells fantastic :o).
BC red cedar 1/16 inch shakes with great colour and variation - available in Rectangular, Octagonal, Fishscale or Classic shapes.
In all our houses we use pre-built Houseworks brand windows and doors that just pop into out kits, our Hampton Kit is the only one on the market that has all working pop in double hung windows.
Since we make these dollhouses right here they are highly customizable. You can have any style of window,door railing, spindles or porch posts you like, just pay the difference between the prices of the parts if there is any.
