Debi and her husband Kim, live in the middle of beautiful British Columbia, Canada, with their two teen-aged sons, Kyle and Joel. Quesnel is nestled between the Fraser and Quesnel Rivers in a lovely little valley with the Coastal Mountains in the west and the Cariboo Range to the East.
Debi's first attempt at wicker was a club project using the booklet, How to Make Miniature Wicker Furniture, taught by the local club mentor, Diana McColl. Her first chair was a very sad looking but she still has it proudly on display. In 1997, she decided to give it another whirl, creating a chaise lounge of her own design. Pleased with that result, she went on to create other items.
